FORCE_COLOR may impact other tools but I'll give it a try anyway ...

Considering the breakage in mypy's tests & primer due to color output changes, I'd like opinions about if a "color legacy mode" (use old color behavior) is required, or if that feels redundant |

AlsoMYPY_FORCE_COLORis previously undocumented(?), so I documented it.* Not my addition, it's pre-existing code

python runtests.py self pytest-fast. I added a testmypy/test/test_color_output.pybut don't know how to run it.
